How I got started: When I was 6 years old I was watching a show with my mom on Russian TV. The show was kind of like “Dancing with the Stars,” except it was fi gure skating. I asked my mom, “How do I do what they are doing?” and she signed me up for a learn-to-skate class at our local fi gure skating club. I’ve been in love with fi gure skating ever since.
